A few months ago, I interviewed The Real Kid Capri for my Partners of Peace podcast/blog series, and since our schedules didn’t match up again, I added his picture to the interview to turn it into a video for the peace summit. I think it’s important for teens (many of whom like rap a lot) to hear from a celebrity like this because maybe they’ll listen up more. Kid founded a non-profit called Givakid Foundation, and we actually joined them in an event to give school supplies to children all over the world and raise money for Puerto Rico after the hurricane.
“Money is not the success. The way you carry yourself when you walk on this Earth is the real #success.”
“You need time to yourself, #quiet and silent and just think. You need the solace with yourself to really think about what’s going on.”
