When that happens, it’s good to remind ourselves of all the positive good things in our lives. Always try to enjoy yourself and make sure you smile and say thank you!
Here are some hints for you to try:
1. Breathe. In through your nose and out through your mouth. Do this slowly three times.
2. When you wake up in the morning, say thank you. Think of all the good things in your life, and realize that every day is a new day with a fresh start. Realize it can always be worse, so live in the present, not the past or the future, and allow yourself to be grateful.
3. Commune with nature. Go to your favorite quiet spot, whether it’s the mountains or the ocean or another special place that helps you feel peaceful and safe.
4. Change your mind. Sometimes we feel anxiety from small things, and this can cause stress on our minds and bodies. Try repeating a mantra to help you relax and focus on the positive. A good mantra to try is “Everything is ok.”
