Interview with Kayoko Mitsumatsu
We are so excited to continue our interview series with pioneers in the field of “thinking well”. These OMazing wonderful people have dedicated their lives to teaching wellness in mind, body, and spirit, and to spreading love and peace, all in an effort to heal this great planet of ours. Let’s listen to what they have to say, and help them by joining them in their mission. The interviews are conducted by Wuf Shanti’s OMazing 12 year-old creator, which makes them fun and interesting for kids to listen to as well! It is important to share these ideas with our children so that the next generation grows up knowing how to balance their emotions and live in light. Peace begins with us. We hope you enjoy the interviews as much as we do! Wuf Shanti, Wuf Peace, Wuf Namaste`! #lovewins #wufshanti
Today we had the pleasure of interviewing Kayoko Mitsumatsu, founder of Yoga Gives Back, which strives to mobilize the global yoga community to empower women and children in India to build sustainable livelihoods. She shares with us her thoughts about helping the next generation to learn to live mindfully, Wuf Shanti, and more. In this time, with what is going on in the world right now, we can’t let the violence and negativity win. We must stand together, focus on our children and spreading love and kindness so that they will grow up to learn to live in peace. Love wins, we must believe that. Release the fear, be positive. We were honored to to speak with Kayoko, and we hope you enjoy this interview. You can learn more about her and the organization at http://www.yogagivesback.org/

About Wuf Shanti:
Wuf Shanti is an adorable dog yoga character that travels the world and shares with children through yoga, fun, and great music, how to live mindfully and think like a yogi, look on the bright side of life, be kind to others, and live in gratitude. If we can teach children when they are young more productive ways of dealing with their emotions, then hopefully they will grow up to be more empathetic, less depressed and anxious teenagers, and more content, happier peace-loving adults.
Wuf Shanti promotes health, wellness, and happiness in children. Science has shown that positive thinking, yoga, and mediation help the healing process. We are so grateful that the Children’s Television Network will be distributing the Wuf Shanti videos to their children’s hospitals across the nation, which will allow us to help kids smile and heal.
Wuf Shanti’s creator is a 12 year-old boy that believes in peace, love, kindness, gratitude, and thinking well. Wuf Shanti started out as a child’s project, and is now a “real” character that came to life. Wuf Shanti loves all children, regardless of where they are from, what nationality or religion or race they are, and promotes peace and love. We are passionate about our belief that the world will be a brighter place if we can teach children to Think Well to Be Well. It is very important to us to help children live a healthier, mindful life, and maybe we help heal the world, one child at a time.
Our live mascot visits children hospitals, nursing homes, schools, yoga studios, festivals, etc. In addition to this website, we also have Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages, which we invite you to follow, a YouTube channel you can subscribe to, books, coloring books, t-shirts, stuffed animals, yoga mats, and a children’s app coming soon. Thank you for joining us on this journey of giving gratitude and thinking well, and sharing this yogic-minded lifestyle for children.
