Interview with Haris Lender
We are so excited to be launching our new interview series with pioneers in the field of “thinking well”. These OMazing wonderful people have dedicated their lives to teaching wellness in mind, body, and spirit, and to spreading love and peace, all in an effort to heal this great planet of ours. Let’s listen to what they have to say, and help them by joining them in their mission. The interviews are conducted by Wuf Shanti’s OMazing 11 year-old creator, which makes them fun and interesting for kids to listen to as well! It is important to share these ideas with our children so that the next generation grows up knowing how to balance their emotions and live in light. Peace begins with us. We hope you enjoy the interviews as much as we do! Wuf Shanti, Wuf Peace, Wuf Namaste`! #lovewins #peacebeginswithme #wufshanti
Our interview series continues with Haris Lender, the founder of Kidding Around Yoga (KAY), a fantastic teacher training for children’s yoga. What sets Kidding Around Yoga apart is their unique approach to teaching children’s Yoga through a series of original music that makes it fun. They also have a funtastic sleepover camp called Camp Kidding Around Yoga. Haris shares with us her thoughts about helping the next generation to learn to live mindfully, Wuf Shanti, and more. In this time, with what is going on in the world right now, we can’t let the violence and negativity win. We must stand together, focus on our children and spreading love and kindness so that they will grow up to learn to live in peace. Love wins, we must believe that. Release the fear, be positive. Peace begins with us! We were honored to take the KAY course and become certified to teach children’s yoga, honored to film the “Every Little Cell” video with Wuf Shanti (https://wufshanti.com/2015/11/every-little-cell-video-with-wuf-shanti), and honored to speak with Haris Lender. We hope you enjoy this interview. You can learn more about her and KAY at www.kiddingaroundyoga.com.

About Wuf Shanti:
Wuf Shanti is an adorable dog yoga character that travels the world and shares with children how to live mindfully and think like a yogi (look on the bright side of life, be kind to others, live in gratitude, etc.). We are passionate about our belief that the world will be a brighter place if we can teach children to Think Happy to be Happy. It is our greatest desire that this character will become a beacon for others as well, and will help children live in light, grow up to be happy teenagers and content peace loving adults.
Wuf Shanti’s creator is an 11 year-old boy that believes in peace, love, kindness, gratitude, and thinking well. Wuf Shanti started out as a child’s project, and is now a “real” character that came to life. It is very important to us to help children live a healthier, mindful life, and maybe we help heal the world, one child at a time. Wuf Shanti loves all children, regardless of where they are from, what nationality or religion or race they are, and promotes peace and love.
Our live mascot visits children hospitals, nursing homes, schools, festivals, etc. In addition to this website, we also have a Facebook and Instagram page, which we invite you to like, a YouTube channel you can subscribe to, a book, t-shirts, and a children’s app coming soon. Join us on this journey of giving gratitude and thinking well, and sharing this yogic-minded lifestyle for children.
