I had interviewed Ms. Whitney Stewart before for my Partners of Peace podcast and blog, but I wanted to redo it for the peace summit because she writes lots of books about the subject and teaches it too. Her newest book that’s about to come out is about mindfulness and teens.

#Mindfulness includes a conversation with students & talking with them about the conflicts they face and challenges they have and finding ways they can work through those social and emotional difficulties, not just sitting and breathing mindfully for a few minutes before class.”

“There’s great research to show the more you do for others, the more #happiness you feel.”
