Day 2 of the MKPS re-release with new content. Check out this interview with Gina Biegel, of Stressed Teens. We spoke about the importance of self-care, and mindfulness for teens.
“Mindfulness is…tuning into now, so you’re not as tied to things that have happened or are going to happen. Now that you’re not going to have those thoughts. It’s more about what you do when you notice them. We can make our problems a lot worse by hanging onto them.”
“It’s not selfish to take care of yourself. You can’t care for anyone else if we don’t care for ourselves. We need to rigorously take care of ourselves so we don’t burn out.”
