Day 4 of the MKPS re-release with new content. This time around, by request, in addition to our mindfulness and SEL content, we have added content about mental health, substance abuse, phone and gaming addiction, suicide prevention, and trafficking.

Check out this interview with Steve Ronik, of Henderson Behavioral Health Foundation. We spoke about the importance of early intervention and communication in mental health and addiction.

“The most important thing is that people understand there’s nothing to be embarrassed about. Mental Health conditions among teens, and everyone, is super common. 1 in 5 Americans have a diagnosable mental health condition. They are common, treatable, and people recover.”

“About 45K each year die by suicide and about half of those do it with a gun. Hopefully we can intervene and raise someone’s awareness before things get too bad, so early intervention is key.”
