Kickstarter is a great tool, not only to raise money for worthy projects, but also to meet awesome like-minded people and form a community. I met this lovely woman, Kathryn Kemp Guylay, who succeeded in her Kickstarter campaign (yeah!), I loved the concept of her book, getting kids to eat healthier. I’ll take all the help I can get to make my little one want to eat healthy. All you moms out there know how awesome this is, right? And the coolest part? Her 13 year-old son is the illustrator, just like Adam with the Wuf Shanti book! So we began chatting and she graciously posted our campaign. Little did I know she was also a best selling author and had her own radio show! When she offered to interview Adam on her show, I was blown away by her kindness and generosity and willingness to help. Kind of gives me faith in this crazy world of ours.

Her radio show, in Idaho, is called Healthy Kids Corner, and we were honored to be interviewed for it. This was Adam’s first time being on the other side of the microphone. As you know, he conducts many interviews with pioneers in the yoga field, but he has never been the one to be interviewed.

Check out the interview here:

We found out about 2 hours before the show, and I was at work, so we had no time to prepare. We had no idea what the questions would be. We only knew that Kathryn and her son Alex would be interviewing us (well, mainly Adam, I only spoke up once) about Wuf Shanti.

Guess what else we didn’t know? It’s an hour long show! LOL. Well, I know I’m a little biased, but Adam and Alex both did OMazing!!! I was so proud of both of them, and I’m so impressed with these young men and all they are doing to make a positive impact on the world.

I want to thank both Kathryn and Alex for the opportunity. It was so much fun. And more importantly, we’ve met some really nice people that will be forever friends.

Please look them up on Instagram and buy their book! All the information, and Adam’s interview for you to listen to can be found at this link:
