I didn’t speak with Joe Lockett today, but I did a few months ago. Since our schedules didn’t match up again, I used the interview I did for my Partners of Peace podcast/blog series and added his picture to turn it into a video for the peace summit. The man is so funny though. It’s no wonder he has his own radio show, the Joe Lockett Show! You should check it out.

“I choose my thoughts but I also need to slow the process down. Once you slow life down and it goes into slow motion, you can see what’s happening, and then you can make choices.”

“Once you get a platform, you have to show the generation behind you that you care. Give back to your #community starting early. Leave a blueprint, leave the door open, for the #nextgeneration.”
