Day 1 of the MKPS re-release with new content. This time around, by request, in addition to our mindfulness and SEL content, we have added content about mental health, substance abuse, phone and gaming addiction, suicide prevention, and trafficking.

Check out this interview with Sports Reporter, Dan Devone, a 5 time Emmy winner, who has taken a leave to travel the country speaking about communication in the modern age. We spoke about the importance of balance for teens.

“The World Health Organization has recognized that teens are addicted to their phones and being online. It’s an addiction, just like anything else. Some kids today have no interest in sports, activities, friends, or school anymore because they are addicted to being on-line, so this is a mental health crisis.”

“There used to be a time that people walked down the street and said hello to each other, and now, I’d settle for a head nod if people could just look up from their phone. It’s important for us to have a balance and to connect with other people in the world so that we can be healthier. See you on Sunday is a movement whereby we all commit to taking one day a week, Saturday, without the phone. It’s hard but if you can power through, you will feel a sense of freedom.”
